About these terms
These terms cover the Virtual Islamic Academy website and learning portal. They are between you and Virtual Islamic Academy, based in Pakistan. By using an account, you agree to use the service responsibly. Where you have a signed student registration letter or tutor agreement, that document controls the specific class, fee or teaching arrangements it records if there is a conflict with these general website terms.
Accounts and guardians
Provide accurate account information and keep your password private. Tell the Academy promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity on your account unless you have reported that access to us.
A parent or guardian must agree to an account for a student under 16 and supervise the child's use of the portal. Do not create an account for somebody else without the authority to do so. We may verify eligibility or pause an account while we address a safety or security concern.
Classes and fees
The Academy arranges enrolments, tutors, schedules, online class access and learning materials. Availability and class times may change by agreement or where a tutor or technical issue makes a class impossible. We will communicate practical changes through Academy channels.
Your signed student registration letter sets out your particular fees, payment timing, missed-class and rescheduling arrangements. These general terms do not add a new fee or replace those signed arrangements. Contact the Academy if a letter or schedule does not match what you expected before signing it.
Safe communication
Use the Academy portal or another channel expressly authorised and supervised by the Academy for routine student-tutor communication. Academy staff can review portal conversations to provide support and protect students. Do not ask a student or tutor to move a class relationship to private contact channels or share private contact details through the portal.
Treat other users respectfully. Do not harass anyone, impersonate another person, upload harmful material, or share a meeting link or someone else's information without permission. Report safety concerns to contact@virtualislamicacademy.com.
Learning materials and access
Materials in the portal are provided for enrolled students to use for their own learning. Do not publish, sell, or distribute Academy materials or another student's work without permission. Do not interfere with the website, attempt to access another account, or use automated tools to abuse the service. Third-party video and calendar services may have their own terms and availability limits.
Changes and account access
We may update the website, portal features and these general terms. If a change materially affects a current student or tutor, we will give an appropriate notice. We may limit access where reasonably needed to address misuse, security, or a serious safeguarding concern. This does not by itself change rights or duties in a signed registration letter or tutor agreement.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including children's and guardians' information.
